Free Book Making Work Shop

Join Urban Re:Think for a book-binding workshop and learn to make eastern, western and alternative bindings. Come learn how to make a sketchbook, journal or custom portfolio. We’ll have supplies on hand, but please bring any from the list below that you may have to share. The workshop will be taught by Greg Leibowitz, a UCF BFA in Book Arts and an Assistant Professor of Digital Art and Design at Full Sail University. Leibowitz will be assisted by Adrian Gonzales of Flying Horse Editions.

SUPPLY LIST:

- Examples of books and alternative book bindings
-Thumb tacs
- Sewing needles
- Thread spools

- 8.5x11 printer paper

-Exacto Knives

- Rulers
- Scissors
- 3-hole punch

- PVA glue 

- Book cloth 
- Book board
