MEGATRON ATTACKS ORLANDO!
Check out this video, taken by the Orlando Informer, looks like Universal Studios is taking an interesting approach to promote their new Transformer: The Ride 3-D opening this summer. We wish it didn’t have to take a Multi-Billion dollar franchise to do something creative and fun in the city. Hopefully the positive response will open their eyes to perhaps to do some public art/murals in the future? Regardless it’s a pretty cool scene to see in person. It’s located on The Fairwinds Tower at 135 W. Central Blvd. in downtown Orlando.

While on a way to a show, we spotted this Obey sticker on the streets of Wynwood

We reported last month that it was a matter of time that the infamous “Black Box” which featured a revolving door of legal graffiti and street art in Orlando, was going to be demolished. Today is that day. It is a sad place to see go and we can only hope that another spot similar to it will “pop up” in the future. Check out some of the artwork that has grazed its walls in the past here. Photograph by Chris Redmon.
A self portrait of Boy Kong and what it feels like to ride a bike in Orlando. FL. In case you couldn’t tell from the drawing it’s HOT as Hell. If you are in Orlando this week make sure to check out his solo show at the Peacock Room tomorrow. For more info on the show click here.
Check out this new mural done by Smog One in Lake Worth, FL. This guy smashes these walls with his 3D.

Artist “Cake” recently had his solo show titled “The Gilded Cage” at the Redefine Gallery in Orlando,FL. We stopped by to check it out and we really enjoyed the diversity he put in his paintings. Animals, Skulls and a naked man are just some of the subjects found at this exhibit. We really enjoyed it and from what we could tell so did the viewers. Check out some of the photos we captured that night! (More photos after the jump).
